Ja, det begynner å bli lenge siden det har kommet noen melding fra EMGS - men heller ikke andre selskaper innen sektoren opplever oppgangen alle har snakket så lenge om. Tydelig at mange har mistet troen på økt aktivitet innen oljesektoren i det hele tatt.
Kanskje oljeselskapene bevisst sulter serviceselskaper som EMGS? De vil neppe betale mer enn nødvendig

EMGS Mobilises Vessel for Potential Acquisition Contract
Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA ("EMGS" or the "Company") is currently engaged
in the final stages of a contractual exchange for a proprietary data acquisition
survey with an undisclosed customer.
The survey will take place in South America with an expected duration between
one and two months.
The Company will be mobilising the Atlantic Guardian shortly, at the request of
the customer. Under the terms of this request, the Company will, subject to
certain conditions, be compensated for the mobilisation and demobilisation costs
in the event no contract is awarded.
Subject to the contract being awarded, EMGS expects that the survey will
commence in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Blir det noe av kontrakten i sør-amerika, skal de altså nedlegge en del betalte mil fra nordsjøen til destinasjon, før de i det hele tatt starter på jobben. Vil tippe kontrakten blir på 8-10 musd. Det er ikke multiclient, det er kontraktsarbeid (with an undisclosed customer) , noe som historisk sett har gitt EMGS gode inntekter.
Det er et kraftig positivt signal at EMGS klarer å skaffe kontraktsarbeid.
