IDEX Biometrics Receives Production Order from Zwipe
Oslo, Norway, 19 October 2020: IDEX Biometrics ASA, a leading provider of advanced fingerprint identification and authentication solutions, has received an order for 300,000 units from its partner Zwipe, a leading biometric fintech company.
The order, of 300,000 units, of IDEX’s TrustedBio™ fingerprint sensors, will support the roll-out of Zwipe’s Pay ONE platform to a growing list of smart card manufacturers and card issuers in Europe, the Americas and Asia. A Pay ONE platform deployment, with IDEX’s next generation fingerprint sensor, will be among the best performing and most cost-effective biometric payment card solutions in the marketplace.
This marks the first commercial order since the two companies signed a Channel Partner Agreement earlier in 2020.

Sist jeg ringte IDEX for å spørre om pris på sesorer i fikk jeg beskjed om 4-6USD pr sensor. Fikk inntrykk at de ligger rundt 6USD+ pr sensor i for oppstartsvolumer som dette. Uten at jeg skal si jeg vet 100%, var bare mitt inntrykk.

In April this year, Zwipe announced that it has selected IDEX as its preferred sensor partner for Zwipe Pay ONE biometric payment card solution. The selection was based on comprehensive evaluations of performance and costs.
The Zwipe Pay ONE solution with IDEX’s next generation fingerprint sensor will be released for customer pilots in the fourth quarter of 2020 followed by mass-volume deployment in 2021.

Significant market traction recently tyder på at vi vil få en rekke meldinger om salg fremover. Shortposisjonen på ca 4mill aksjer kommer under press ettersom kursen stiger. Notering i NY vil også øke interessen.
