Selskapet er priset omtrent på cash beholdning og under verdiene i selskapet. De har lange gode kontrakter, som kan forsvare en langt høyere kurs. Langsiktig kursmål opp til kr 200 virker ikke urealistisk, eller hva synes dere?

Philly Shipyard Wins Contract to Build Specialized Vessel for U.S. Offshore Wind Market
Vessel is the shipyard’s first contract in the U.S. offshore wind market
PHILADELPHIA (November 15, 2021) – Philly Shipyard, Inc. (PSI), the sole operating subsidiary of Philly Shipyard ASA (OSE: PHLY), today announced it has won a contract from Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company, LLC, the nation’s leading dredging company, to construct one Jones Act-compliant Subsea Rock Installation Vessel – the first such ship to enter the U.S. market. Great Lakes retains a right of first refusal on a second ship.
The initial award is valued at approximately USD 197 million. If both ships are ordered, then the total contract value of the 2-ship program would be approximately USD 382 million.
The contract win solidifies and diversifies Philly Shipyard’s current order backlog – four National Security Multi-Mission Vessels (NSMV) for Tote Services LLC, which retains its option for a fifth NSMV.
“Over the past several years, we have made a conscious effort to pivot toward a more diversified order backlog in an attempt to grow the Company’s profitability,” said Steinar Nerbovik, President and CEO, Philly Shipyard.
“Philly Shipyard has a long-standing position as the leading U.S. commercial shipyard for tankers and container ships, and we are making inroads into government projects – both new builds and repairs. This win now carves a path into the expanding offshore wind market. This contract is proof that we are executing on our vision and diversifying our market opportunities.”
The basic design is by Ulstein, a leading Norwegian/Dutch designer of offshore wind vessels. The Subsea Rock Installation Vessel is designed to carry up to 20,000 MT of rock and shall transport and strategically deposit these rocks to the ocean bottom, laying a foundation for the monopiles which serve as the prevailing support structure for offshore wind turbines. The ship will have an overall length of 140.5 meters (461 feet), a breadth of 34.1 meters (112 feet), and crew accommodations for 45 people.
The owner will supply the rock placement system and other mission equipment. Delivery for the first vessel is expected in Q4 2024 with the second (if awarded) being delivered in Q4 2025.

All major equipment purchases have been made and all steel has been received for NSMV 1. Philly Shipyard targets keel laying of NSMV 1 and full production start of NSMV 2 in late 2021. Pre-production activities on NSMVs 3 and 4 are ongoing
As of 30 September 2021, Philly Shipyard’s workforce consisted of 686 people. As production on the NSMV program ramps up, Philly Shipyard will continue to increase its workforce.
Total assets were USD 480.9 million at 30 September 2021 compared to USD 237.7 million at 31 December 2020, with the increase resulting mainly from an increase in cash and cash equivalents (unrestricted) of USD 199.2 million, USD 23.2 million of prepayments to suppliers for the NSMV program, and USD 18.1 million of cash deposited in an escrow account as collateral for the bonds required by the NSMV program and a reserve fund for NSMVs 1-2.
Cash and cash equivalents (unrestricted) were USD 296.6 million at 30 September 2021 compared to USD 97.4 million at 31 December 2020. The increase of USD 199.2 million was due primarily to an increase in customer advances, net on the first four NSMV vessels (Hulls 033-036) of USD 221.2 million and an increase in trade payables, accrued payables and provisions of USD 32.1 million, partially offset by USD 41.3 million in prepayments and escrow deposits described above.
Total restricted cash as of 30 September 2021 amounted to USD 44.5 million, of which USD 43.1 million (long term) represents the total cash deposited in the escrow account and reserve fund described above and USD 1.4 million (short-term) pertains to a holdback in escrow for claims related to the second Matson vessel (Hull 030). It is anticipated that the cash collateral for the bonds required by the NSMV program will be released in tranches following the delivery of each NSMV vessel and the funds deposited into the reserve fund for NSMVs 1-2 will be released upon delivery of each NSMV vessel, respectively. The timing of the release of the Hull 030 holdback is uncertain and continues to be delayed due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, including quarantine and travel restrictions, on closing-out the underlying claims.
Total equity decreased to USD 82.3 million at 30 September 2021 from USD 92.8 million at 31 December 2020 due to net loss of USD 10.5 million.
Philly Shipyard has four NSMVs in its order book with a total contract value in excess of USD 1.2 billion and a final delivery in 2024. TOTE Services retains an option for the fifth NSMV. If all five NSMVs are ordered, then the total contract value would exceed USD 1.5 billion and the final delivery would extend into 2025.
The Senate Appropriations Committee’s funding bill for Transportation, Housing & Urban Development (THUD) for fiscal year 2022 includes full funding for the fifth NSMV. This is another positive step in the budget process, but the final passage and timing of these appropriations remain uncertain.
In the government sector, Philly Shipyard remains focused on opportunities for commercial-like and auxiliary ships. In the commercial sector, Philly Shipyard is exploring a variety of opportunities for Jones Act ships. In particular, Philly Shipyard continues to see increased interest from owners in building various types of vessels to support the expanding offshore wind industry on the U.S. East Coast.
Philly Shipyard expects it will continue to incur operating losses in 2021 due to the shipyard operating at less than full capacity during the ramp-up of production for the NSMV program. The USNS Charlton R&M project reduced under-recovered overhead costs during 2021. It is expected that operations at Philly Shipyard will reach full capacity in mid-2022.
As of 30 September 2021, the Company also has USD 56.9 million as prepayments to suppliers for materials and equipment for the construction of Hulls 033-036, included in prepayments and other receivables on the statement of financial position.

Dette er skipene Phly bygger for det amerikanske forsvaret. Phly har allerede fått kontrakt på å bygge de første 4 av 5 skipene. Det 5te skipet venter vi at Phly får kontrakt på i desember 2021. Da vil Phly ha kontrakter på ca kr 15 milliarder de neste årene 💪

Kan lure på hva investorer tenker på som selger seg ut på dagens nivå, når selskapet har kr 12 milliarder i kontrakter med det amerikanske militæret og får mest sannsynligvis ca kr 3 milliarder til de nærmeste månedene 😜 Phly har kr 0 i gjeld, priset litt over cashbeholdningen og Aker som stor eier. Og hva skjer med kursen hvis det kommer en kontrakt med bygging til grønt markedet i USA med en utvidelse av verftet? 🤩

Aker har solgt Ocean Yield idag. Det viser at plutselig kommer det bud som blir akseptert. Dette kan skje med Phly også, hvis noen investorer ser verdien av det amerikanske forsvarets nye satsing på bygging av egen flåte 💪

Jeg er helt enig i det 😊 Samtidig må du huske på at hvis ingen var villige til å selge på disse latterlig lave nivåene, hadde jo ikke vi tjent pengene 😅 Jeg realiserte veldig høy avkastning ved kjøp på disse nivåene sist gang
Ufattelig at det ikke handles mer på disse nivå, Ufattelig, folk skjønner ikke mye når man lar denne ligge her nede. Gratis penger på gata har kursmål 200 på phly

Jeg er fortsatt mest spent på om kursen går når skip 5 blir godkjent i budsjettet, når TOTO får ordren eller når Phly får ordren ;) Også hadde det vært utrolig gøy om det kom en ordre innen havvind før ordre på skip nr 5 kommer ;)
Angående kursmål tror jeg det kommer an på langsiktighet. Jeg er 100% sikker på at det kommer flere ordre innen 2024, som sikrer arbeid videre mot 2030. Det amerikanske forsvaret skal bygge sykt mye de neste 30 årene. Årlig utbytte på kr 20-30 hadde vært helt ok ;)

Snart finner flere ut at phly er helt på jordet feil priset. Jeg tørr påstå at aksjen har minst 200% oppside fra dagens nivå. Kontrakter på 13milliarder og margin på ca 5/6% regner man på det så skjønner de som kan regne at den er hinsides feil priset. VÅKN OPP
