Elop AS: Wins first contract in India
27 January 2021 – ELOP’s AI business unit Simplifai AS (Simplifai) has won a breakthrough contract in the high-potential Indian market, landing one of India’s best-known Internet brands as its first customer in the country.

Simplifai has signed a contract to deliver its AI technology to Shaadi.com. Shaadi.com is one of the leading social networking sites based out of India, used by more than 35 million people worldwide.

“To get one of India’s best-known Internet brands as our first Indian customer is a major milestone for us. It demonstrates the strength of our technology and will be a cornerstone reference in our further rollout in South Asia. The market potential is enormous,” says Bård Myrstad, CEO of Simplifai.

Shaadi.com receives 30,000 to 40,000 customer enquiries daily. The company wants to improve and automate its processes and the Simplifai AI technology will help Shaadi handle the millions of enquiries the company receives every year. Simplifai’s Digital Employee technology can analyse and process large amounts of data to perform intelligent actions based on this information. The AI technology will help Shaadi achieve significant gains in the quality and efficiency of the company’s customer experience.

Simplifai was selected in strong competition with several other global suppliers of AI solutions to provide its services to Shaadi.com.

Shaadi.com will pay Simplifai an undisclosed fixed monthly fee to deliver its AI-driven solution. The initial contract is for an 18 month period and contains options for further expansions.

“Winning this contract ahead of other recognized brands, demonstrates the commercial competitiveness of Simplifai and their leading position technologically. We look forward to applying this unique AI competence across industries,” says Kjersti Kanne, CEO of ELOP

Elop AS: Breakthrough in online retail market for Simplifai
25 February 2021 – Elop’s AI business unit Simplifai has won its first contract in the online retail market through a contract with fast-growing Norwegian e-commerce company Brandsdal Group.

“The online retail market has grown significantly in recent years and has experienced a hockey stick effect following the Covid-19 outbreak last year. Securing a breakthrough in this market could open up a huge number of interesting doors for Simplifai’s AI-driven technologies,” says Bård Myrstad, VP of Simplifai.

Brandsdal Group receives around 20,000 email enquiries every month and has an ambition of improving customer satisfaction and the overall pace of responding to these customer requests. To achieve this, Brandsdal Group will start utilizing Simplifai’s AI-powered Digital Employee technology, which can automatically process large volumes of incoming customer email enquiries and perform smart actions based on the client’s requirements.

Brandsdal Group is a Norwegian e-commerce company with presence in numerous European countries such as Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Poland and soon to come the Netherlands . It operates under the BliVakker.no and Netthandelen.no brands in Norway and the Cocopanda brand in other European countries.

Brandsdal Group will first apply Simplifai’s technology for its Norwegian BliVakker brand, with ambition to expand the service offering to the Cocopanda brand too. Brandsdal Group will pay Simplifai an undisclosed fixed monthly fee for utilization of the Digital Employee AI solution.
