PHU CUONG SOC TRANG

«Mainstream and the Phu Cuong Group entered a joint venture agreement in 2017 to develop the 1,400 MW Phu Cuong Soc Trang offshore wind project. It will be developed in two phases - Phase 1 - 400 MW and Phase 2, 1,000 MW. The Phu Cuong project is located in the Soc Trang Province in Vietnam. Once operational, it will power over 995,000 homes and avoid around 1,220,000 tCO2e each year.

Phase 1, 400 MW, is at late-stage development. It is estimated Phase 1 will comprise between 28 and 36 turbines, with the distance of turbines to shore estimated at 4 km. Phase 1 will enter construction in 2021 with commercial operation date in 2023«

DAK NONG SOLAR PORTFOLIO

In June 2021, Mainstream signed an agreement to acquire an 80 per cent shareholding in Technology and Development Joint Stock Company Limited (D&T), which is developing a 405 MW portfolio of solar projects in the Dak Nong province of central Vietnam.

The portfolio of three projects, which is included in the Vietnam Government’s Power Development Plan 7 (PDP 7) has been in development since 2019 and is expected to reach financial close in 2022.

BEN TRE 500 MW - OFFSHORE WIND

In November 2020, Mainstream signed a joint venture agreement with Advanced Information Technologies Corporation (AIT) to co-develop a 500MW offshore wind project in Ben Tre province.

The project has received the requisite site survey licence, completed a feasibility study and submitted a Power Development Plan (PDP) application to Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade with a view to the project being included in the Vietnam Government’s forthcoming national PDP period 2021-2030 with vision to 2045 (PDP 8).

TAIBA N'DIAYE WIND

In December 2020, the remainder, 108 MW reached commercial operation. The wind farm will provide more than 450,000 MWh of electricity per year to more than two million people.

The Taiba project was acquired in June 2016 and is owned by our African joint venture platform, Lekela Power. The project holds a 20-year PPA with Senelec, the national electricity company in Senegal.

Jeg ser prosjektene og de er bra. Ser også at Aow har planlagt 6GW vindkraft i Skotland. Og har teknologien til Priciple power. Begge er AKH som skal jobbe sammen i Japan, mest sannsynlig. Blir bra for begge dette.

Jeg investert mye i AKH og en god del i AOW.
Disse to er mine langsiktige investeringer. Det er gøy å ha mulighet til å bli med i såpass tidlig fase.👍
