Ja, dette er helt tragisk. Husker du forsvant i begynnelsen av 23 . Etter det har det vært flere utvanninger for at AC med venner skal kunne kose seg på det de kaller jobb. Du får holde ut resten av året, til første saken er avgjort.

From my recollection of the previous announcement, the Zenith directors invested a substantial amount of their own money in shares. I'm not a clairvoyant, so I can't definitively assess the accuracy of this claim. However, receiving a resolution before the end of the year would be highly favorable from my perspective. Additionally, the director's recent investments bolster my confidence, as it would be unlikely for someone to commit over £300,000 if they anticipated an unfavourable outcome in the arbitration. On the flip side if the arbitration is a failure then this will be one big disaster.

If it is indeed the case that a ruling on the first arbitration is expected by the end of this month, this will be highly significant for all of us as Zenith shareholders. For the ruling to be beneficial, we must, of course, achieve a favourable outcome in the arbitration; however, there is strong reason to believe that we will, given that the case centres on the straightforward matter of the Tunisians' misappropriation of our oil and the proceeds from its sale.

Assuming a successful ruling, the first positive outcome would be the influx of much-needed funds into the company’s reserves. While obtaining the full amount may take some time, the company should be able to secure $6.5 million relatively quickly, as these funds have already been seized from the ETAP bank account, as noted in the RNS dated 10 July 2023. Ideally, securing the remaining funds will also be a relatively smooth process, as Zenith will be dealing with a company rather than a sovereign state.

The most immediate benefit for us as shareholders would be that, if the amount claimed indeed exceeds $10 million, it would significantly surpass the current market capitalisation of $8 million (including all new warrants). This should provide a strong, immediate uplift to the share price, potentially doubling it to reflect the company’s improved financial standing.

Perhaps more importantly, a successful first arbitration would generate positive sentiment around Zenith as we approach the second arbitration, scheduled for just five months from now, which concerns a considerably larger sum of $130 million. As the decision date for this second arbitration draws nearer, it’s likely we’ll see steady growth in the share price, driven by increased investor interest and anticipation of substantial returns from a favourable ruling.

While all of this remains potential at this stage, the first arbitration is essentially the initial domino. If successful, I expect sentiment to strengthen progressively as the second arbitration approaches. The sooner we have a decision on this first case, the better, so let’s hope the rumours of an imminent ruling are indeed accurate.

I have asked this before, but I don't think I have received an answer from anyone. What happened to the legal case between the subsidiary in Congo and the drill operator. I belive they took legal action in Paris many years ago, but I have failed to pick up what happened. And furthermore, what happened to the 5+ million that they have outstanding from the authorities in Congo? This amount was supposed to be undisputed. Did Congo pay up?

Jeg eier 1,15 millioner aksjer, dog som jeg ser hver dag taper seg i verdi.

Kommer ikke til å selge dem før alle saker er avgjort.
Det forundrer meg de som legger ut sånn type 100.000 aksjer for salg til de prisene som er for tiden. For meg er det uforståelig at de tar en sjanse på å kvitte seg med aksjene for den prisen når vi nå vet det er veldig nært en mulig stor rakett.

Sikkert en balansert risiko for å tro at noen kommer til å "dumpe" litt større...og så ligger de litt lengre ned og samler. Ikke mye å tjene på dette selvsagt men gir kan hende bittelitt spenning i en ellers gørrtrist og kjedelig Zenverden..

Update on Legal Claim against SMP

Zenith Energy Ltd. (LSE: ZEN; OSE: ZENA; OTCQB: ZENAF), the listed international energy production and development company, is pleased to provide an update regarding the legal claim being brought before the Paris Commercial Court (the “Court”) by its fully owned subsidiary, Anglo African Oil & Gas Congo S.A.U ("AAOGC") against SMP Energies (hereafter "SMP", formerly Société de Maintenance Pétrolière - SMP) the rig contractor that performed drilling services in wells TLP-103 and TLP-103C of the Tilapia oilfield during 2018-2019.

On February 17, 2023, Zenith announced that it had increased the claimed amount for SMP's failures during drilling activities to US$9 million in consideration of the significant commercial damages suffered by AAOGC, specifically the impossibility, as a direct result, to begin production activities from the Tilapia oilfield.

The Company believes that the Claim launched by AAOGC has merit because of the significant evidence collected at the time to substantiate its position. AAOGC has since intensified its legal activities in support of the Claim by commissioning third-party expert reports.

As announced on July 3, 2023, the Court rejected SMP’s request for a stay of proceedings in France due to new proceedings having been initiated in the Republic of Congo, stating that SMP's request contained "all the characteristics of a dilatory request", and ordered SMP to pay an amount of EUR 30,000 to AAOGC as procedural costs (the “Procedural Costs”).

SMP unsuccessfully appealed the decision of the Court. As a result, the Company is pleased to confirm that the Paris Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the Paris Commercial Court and that AAOGC has now received payment in the amount of approximately EUR 30,000.

The Company has appointed Charles Russell Speechlys as new legal counsel before the Court in connection with the legal claim against SMP. The final submission for court pleadings is expected to take place on October 25, 2024.

The final pleadings of the case, resulting in a potential positive ruling in favour of AAOGC by the Court, are expected to now take place on or around March 2025.

Andrea Cattaneo, Chief Executive of Zenith, commented:

“We are pleased by the decision of the Appeal Court, confirming the dilatory conduct of SMP who has made every effort to delay and protract legal proceedings to the detriment of AAOGC.

The Company will now proceed in presenting its final submissions with the aid of expert technical consultants to maximise the possibilities of a favourable decision that will compensate AAOGC for the very significant commercial damages it has suffered because of failures ascribable to SMP.”

We try Predictions on crystal balls sum times a go in Zenith forum, it didn't turn quad well , we almost lost our balls (crystal ones)
Bottom line is : It´s wary hard to predict outcome of the events in weeks or months a head . People predicts the future, God ore universe decides. We call them unforeseen events.

Indeed, nothing is certain, and it's wise to approach others' predictions with caution. She has accurately anticipated other outcomes, so we likely won’t have to wait long to see if her projection regarding the timing of the arbitration result proves accurate.

Skjønner ikke hvorfor jeg gidder men her er det som virkelig gjelder første kvartal neste år. Altså 3 forskjellige krav vi venter på innen førstekvartal neste år. Der er en grei oppdatert melding på hva som kommer og når det kommer. Håper nå at det fortsetter med massevis av truseskvettere som selger seg ut, kjøpere er her som lurer i sivet inkludert undertegnede.

ICC Arbitration for SLK against the Republic of Tunisia - ("ICC 2 Arbitration")
The Company has recently filed additional pleadings and supporting documents in connection with the ongoing ICC 2 Arbitration against the Republic of Tunisia.

Zenith's fully owned subsidiary, Canadian North Africa Oil and Gas Limited ("CNAOG") initiated ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) arbitration proceedings against the Republic of Tunisia, as announced in December 2023.



The originally claimed amount, US$85.8 million, has been increased to US$130 million following calculations performed by the Company's advisers, specifically Chapman, regarding the quantifiable damages sustained by CNAOG.



A decision, resulting in a possible award favourable to CNAOG, is expected to be made during the first quarter of 2025.
