https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2021/04/29/2219300/0/en/Hexagon-Purus-selected-by-Nikola-Corporation-to-supply-hydrogen-cylinders-for-serial-production.html

https://www.globenewswire.com/en/news-release/2023/12/07/2792237/0/en/Hexagon-Purus-awarded-purchase-order-by-Ford-Trucks-to-deliver-a-hydrogen-fuel-storage-system-for-their-prototype-heavy-duty-truck.html

13.08.2024

Hydrogen share Hexagon Purus: Before the big bang

Today, 09:33 ‧ Michel Doepke

The market environment for hydrogen stocks remains tense. But not all companies in this sector have disappointed investors in recent months. Hexagon Purus, a manufacturer of battery packs and high-pressure hydrogen containers and systems, is growing strongly and is well on its way to achieving its goals. This should also become more and more apparent in the market - the stock is facing a massive buy signal.

From a technical chart perspective, the share has formed a bottom in recent months. The figures for the first quarter of 2024 marked the start of the turnaround in the share price. Hexagon Purus reported strong growth and confirmed its targets. That was enough to drive the previously heavily battered share by around 30 percent. After failing to reach the GD200 in June, the Scandinavian stock has now been able to sustainably overcome the long-term trend and has recently successfully tested it several times.

The hydrogen stock has therefore gathered strength in recent months to be able to move into another dynamic upward movement. To do this, Hexagon Purus stock must finally establish itself sustainably above the psychologically important mark of 10.00 Norwegian krone - and sustainably overcome the resistance at 10.40 krone (August high), 10.74 krone (July high) and 11.78 krone (massive resistance line).

The bulls at Hexagon Purus are champing at the bit. Operationally, Hexagon Purus is on track to achieve its targets for the current and coming year. In a friendly market environment, the hydrogen stock should finally be able to move into a further upward movement. Brave investors are anticipating the possible buy signals and can continue to buy. A deliberately generously placed stop (due to the high volatility in the share) at EUR 0.55 provides downside protection.

Helt og aldeles. Potentialet synes veldig mye højere end i Hex Composites.

Bare å sitte stille her.

For en super nyhet!

Fra meldingen:

“Entering into a long-term agreement with GILLIG confirms our strong market position with leading transit bus OEMs in both North America and Europe”,  Michael Kleschinski, Executive Vice President of Hexagon Purus

Another order for Solaris hydrogen buses from France – to the city of Belfort

13.08.2024

Solaris has won a prestigious order from the French market in recent days. The producer will deliver eight articulated hydrogen buses to the city of Belfort. The 18-meter buses will be equipped with a state-of-the-art hydrogen system, which, combined with a modular drive, guarantees optimal driving performance. The Urbino 18 hydrogen will be delivered to the customer in the second half of 2025.

In the first half of July, Solaris signed a contract to supply eight hydrogen buses to the city of Belfort. The vehicles were purchased by the public entity SMTC (Le Syndicat Mixte des Transports en Commun du Territoire de Belfort), which brings together transport operators in the region. The ultimate operator of the new hydrogen buses will be the Régie des Transports du Territoire de Belfort (RTTB), which manages mobility, including bus transport, of Belfort.

‘We are extremely proud to collaborate with SMTC in Belfort and to supply the city with the high-tech, zero-emission hydrogen buses. The Urbino 18 hydrogen are not only an innovative means of transport but also a step towards a sustainable future. Thanks to the new Solaris buses, the residents of Belfort will be able to enjoy cleaner air and modern, reliable public transport,’ said Brice Bonavia, Managing Director of Solaris France.

The buses ordered by Belfort will be equipped with a state-of-the-art hydrogen system, which includes a 100 kW hydrogen fuel cell and a composite tanks that can store more than 50 kg of hydrogen at a pressure of 350 bar. Solaris High Power batteries will support the fuel cell at times of peak electricity demand. At the heart of the drive will be a 240 kW electric motor. The bus will also feature a modular drive system, which, by dispersing its components, allows for better use of space on the vehicle's roof. It also increases passenger space.

In accordance with the latest regulations, the buses will comply with GSR2 standards, including a system that alerts the driver to the presence of road users in the so-called ‘blind spot’. The ordered Urbino hydrogen buses will feature high-efficiency air conditioning with a heat pump function. Additionally, the buses will be equipped with the eSConnect monitoring and remote fleet management system.

This is the third order for hydrogen buses from the French market in recent months, following the contracts for four vehicles for Artois Mobilités and 22 buses for Île-de-France Mobilités. The use of hydrogen technology in public transport is gaining increasing popularity, and Solaris is a clear leader in this field – in 2023, the manufacturer held almost 50% of the market share in this segment. More than 220 Urbino hydrogen models are already serving passengers in 25 cities across Europe.

Solaris delivers hydrogen-powered buses to yet another city in Germany

Solaris continues to supply hydrogen buses to the German market. This time the customer is REVG Kerpen, which has ordered a total of 26 Solaris Urbino 12 hydrogen buses. The manufacturer has already delivered the first two units to Kerpen, marking the debut of Solaris buses in the city. Deliveries of the remaining vehicles are scheduled for 2025.

Solaris, a leading European hydrogen bus producer, will deliver to REVG Kerpen, a public transport operator based at Kerpen, Germany, a total of 26 state-of-the-art hydrogen buses. The order includes the Urbino 12 hydrogen and is expected to get completed in 2025. It’s the first collaboration between Solaris and REVG Kerpen.

"We are honoured to bring our state-of-the-art hydrogen-powered buses to Kerpen, marking a significant moment in the evolution of the transport sector. REVG Kerpen's choice underlines their commitment to pioneering sustainable transport solutions. Together, we are on a journey towards a greener future, driven by innovation and environmental responsibility," said Christian Goll, Managing Director of Solaris Deutschland.

The ordered buses will be equipped with a 70 kW hydrogen fuel cells that generate electrical energy onboard and powered by central electric motors. In addition, the Urbino hydrogen buses will be equipped with Solaris High Power batteries to support fuel cell operation during peak demand.

The growing interest in hydrogen technology across Europe, particularly for zero-emission transport, is evident. Solaris maintains its position as the largest hydrogen bus manufacturer in Europe, capturing 44.5% of the market share in 2023 alone. The German market, in particular, is actively investing in hydrogen-powered buses. Solaris Urbino hydrogen buses already operating in cities such as Cologne, Wuppertal, Hofolding, Weimar, Frankfurt, Gross-Zimmern, Aschaffenburg and the Munich metropolitan area. Additionally, further contracts are in progress, with cities including, Krefeld, Güstrow, Gross-Gerau, Hamburg, Gummersbach and Duisburg on the horizon.

Denne mistanken styrkes i dag. Let the good times roll. God helg.

Energiselskapet ZE PAK (Polens største) dukker opp på produsentsiden her.

Gdańsk's fleet is being expanded with Polish-made hydrogen buses

Gergő Garamvölgyi
August 8, 2024.

Around ten Polish-made NesoBus with a hydrogen fuel cell drive system will arrive in the northern Polish port city by mid-September; the first four of which were already on the market. The vehicles will be operated by Gdańskie Autobusy I Tramwaje (GAiT) for ten years under a long-term lease that includes full servicing.

With the arrival of the buses, GAiT's zero-emission fleet rejuvenation program is reaching a new level. The company started putting its bus fleet on a completely emission-free basis back in 2022; since then, more than twenty MAN Lion's City 12 Es and 18 Es have been put into operation, and another 10 hydrogen fuel cell NesoBus 12 solo buses will join this fleet by mid-September. In parallel with the commissioning of the new hydrogen buses, the first public green hydrogen filling station in Gdańsk and the so-called „threesomeváros” region will also be opened, which plays a key role in the development of sustainable transport infrastructure, as it is also possible to refuel hydrogen-powered cars and trucks. Before starting to operate the technology, the transport company carried out several months of test operations with the NesoBus demo bus before purchasing the ten-piece hydrogen bus fleet, thus preparing the smooth integration of hydrogen buses into the urban transport system.

During this period, more than half a hundred bus drivers received comprehensive training, thanks to which they were able to learn the details of the operation and maintenance of the newly marketed type. The real operational experience gained during the test was essential for the procurement of the hydrogen fleet, as this information is essential for the successful introduction of such a significant technological innovation. After careful preparation, GAiT concluded the long-term lease agreement, which includes the full maintenance of the vehicles during the entire duration of the lease. Services include daily and periodic technical inspection, replacement of parts, repair of components that fail during operation, repair of damage caused by accidents and vandalism, installation and updating of new software, and cleaning of vehicles externally and internally. The buses are filled up and ready for operation daily in the GAiT bus garage, where, after the day's work, they are taken over by the service provider for further maintenance.

NesoBus is considered a particularly young bus brand on the Polish market. The brand was created by one of Poland's richest people, Zygmunt Solorz-Żak, who is the owner of Pak-Polska Czysta Energia, one of Poland's leading energy groups, which produces electricity, heat and hydrogen from renewable energy sources. Despite the engine tower design, the model, designed from the ground up as a hydrogen-powered bus, was developed by NesoBus in collaboration with the ZE PAK electricity provider, which is also an interest of the businessman, and the telecommunications company Polsat Plus Group.

The technical content of the type may be familiar, as it is practically the same as the solutions of Solaris' solo hydrogen bus, i.e. the most important elements of the drivetrain here are the Hexagon Agility tank unit with a total volume of 1,560 liters, suitable for storing 37.5 kg of hydrogen, the 70 kW fuel cell supplied by Ballard Power Systems, the lithium titanate oxide (LTO) traction battery with a capacity of 30.4 kWh serving as a buffer in the system, which serves as a buffer, as well as the ZF AxTrax AVE driven gantry chassis with a peak power of 2 x 125 kW. According to the manufacturer, the range of the vehicle with a fuel consumption of 8 kg/100 kilometers is 450 kilometers, but according to GAiT, the autonomy under real operating conditions is somewhat less than this, around 330 kilometers in magnitude.

Vehicles intended for GAiT, round 12 metres long, with 2-2-2 door divisions and a capacity of 93 people, have 37 seats and 57 standing places on their air-conditioned decks. In addition to the modern passenger information system, vehicle monitoring system, built-in sound system, external 360 degree monitoring system and passenger counter system, the buses were equipped with alcohol lock, CPC system for monitoring tire pressure and temperature, fire sensor, hydrogen system collision detection sensor, dusk and rain detection sensor, and full-LED lighting and dynamic rear direction indicators. In addition, USB ports have been placed on the buses, which have an induction charging function.

Significant hydrogen project in the Czech Republic involving Solaris

August 6, 2024
3 min read

Martin Uher Bus, a private transport company, has selected Solaris to supply the first hydrogen buses for its fleet. Ten Urbino 12 hydrogen vehicles will operate public transport in the Central Bohemian region around Prague. The buses are scheduled for delivery in the end of 2025.

The first hydrogen buses project in the Central Bohemian region will be implemented with the participation of Solaris. The manufacturer will supply ten Solaris Urbino 12 hydrogen buses, equipped with state-of-the-art fuel cells with a total power of 70 kW. The only by-products of the chemical reaction occurring in the fuel cell are heat and steam, thus such vehicles produce absolutely no harmful emissions at the point of use. The buses will be refueled with hydrogen produced from 100% green electricity, sourced from the Vrané nad Vltavou hydroelectric power plant. This method generates no carbon dioxide emissions, making the hydrogen produced green and completely climate-neutral. Ten Solaris 12 hydrogen buses will operate in the hilly areas around Mníšek pod Brdy in the Central Bohemian region. The hydrogen-powered vehicles will be delivered in the end of 2025.

Solaris grows French market

06/08/2024

FRANCE

Solaris is continuing its growth in the French market with a new contract to supply four 12-metre Urbino hydrogen buses to Artois Mobilités for the TADAO transport network in northern France. The buses are scheduled for delivery at the beginning of 2025. Solaris will work in collaboration with operator the Transdev Group for the delivery.

“There are a number of arguments in favor of hydrogen. First of all, it is absolutely emission-free during operation. Additionally, there are significant advantages such as long ranges, a fast refuelling process, flexibility in managing a fleet of hydrogen vehicles and a distinguishingly quiet ride. I congratulate Artois Mobilités on this decision and look forward to our cooperation,” said Brice Bonavia, Director of Solaris France.

The buses will use 70kW fuel cells, mounted on the roof, and will be equipped with Solaris High Power traction batteries, which support the fuel cell during peak electricity demand. The buses will be equipped with Solaris eSConnect monitoring and remote fleet management system.

The new contract strengthens Solaris’ position in the European zero-emission vehicle market. It has already delivered over 220 Solaris Urbino hydrogen buses to cities including Barcelona, Bratislava, Frankfurt, Madrid, Poznan and Venice, and is in the process of completing an order for 22 hydrogen buses for Île-de-France Mobilités.

Nikola CEO Announces Workforce Expansion as Production Ramps up

25th July 2024 2 Min Read
Posted by Cláudio Afonso

On Wednesday, Nikola CEO Stephen Girsky shared on LinkedIn that the company’s factory in Coolidge, Arizona, has welcomed “nearly 40” new workers.

"Congratulations to the nearly 40 new hires at our Coolidge assembly plant!,” Girsky wrote.

After selling 112 hydrogen fuel cell trucks (FCEV) in the first half of the year, the Arizona-based manufacturer is ramping up production at its Coolidge plant.

“We are honored to have you join our team in the coming weeks as we continue to ramp up production of our zero-emission trucks. And we appreciate the more than 100 of you that came out and applied – we are fortunate to have a great market and workforce in Arizona!,” the chief executive added.

Last week, the company’s station located in Ontario, California, achieved a daily record by refueling 28 trucks and dispensing over 850 kg of hydrogen.

In the first three months of the year, Nikola sold 40 vehicles while in the following quarter the sales surged to 72 units.

Earlier this week, Harnois Énergies announced the successful completion of a one-month test of Nikola trucks.

The company was the first in Canada to reserve five Peterbilt 579 hydrogen fuel cell trucks, scheduled for delivery in early 2026.

Last week, Nikola secured Talon Logistics as a new client. According to a social media post, the logistics company received its first trucks from Nikola. However, the official announcement regarding the size of the order has not yet been made.

Walmart Canada has recently integrated the first Nikola hydrogen fuel cell electric semi-truck into its fleet, marking it as the first retail fleet in North America to operate such a vehicle.

Hexagon Purus består grovt sagt av to virksomhetsområder.

Bra information Rect Angel.

Daimler är väl enbart elektroniska lastbilen, likt Hino (Toyota) "we expect to start delivering the first trucks to Hino and Daimler in the third quarter of 2024."

Nikola Secures Talon Logistics as New Client for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Trucks

19th July 2024 3 Min Read
Posted by Cláudio Afonso

Nikola Corporation, the US-based manufacturer of hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), has secured Talon Logistics as a new client.

According to a social media post from late Thursday, Talon Logistics has received its first Nikola trucks, although — as the official announcement was not done yet —the size of the order is still unclear.

Talon Logistics, founded in 2007 and headquartered in Southern California, is a prominent logistics and transportation company. It serves several major clients, including Starkist, CJ Logistics, and logistics giant Maersk.

Earlier this week, as the company continues expanding its refueling network, the CEO announced Nikola’s station located in Ontario (California) achieved a record day by refueling 28 trucks and dispensing over 850 kg of hydrogen.

The Arizona-based company announced earlier this month that it sold 72 units in the second quarter, bringing its total sales for the first half of the year to 112 units.

Walmart Canada has recently integrated the first Nikola hydrogen fuel cell electric semi-truck into its fleet, marking it as the first retail fleet in North America to operate such a vehicle. This represents a major milestone for Nikola and its efforts to penetrate the retail logistics market.

In addition, AiLO Logistics, a major drayage carrier operating in the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, has placed an order for 100 Nikola hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks, set for delivery in 2025. This follows a previous order of 50 trucks in 2023, underscoring AiLO’s commitment to sustainable transportation solutions.

Nikola’s CEO Steve Girsky announced on July 2nd that 4GEN Logistics and IMC Companies have also purchased vehicles through Nikola’s dealer network, further solidifying Nikola’s presence in the logistics sector.

Earlier this month, the e-commerce giant Wayfair announced it was testing electric trucks from Nikola in California as it evaluates the transition from diesel to electric trucks.

Ordrereserven for utførelse i 2024 forventes å fortsette å vokse i 2024 »

3)

6)

« All-time high kvartalsinntekter på NOK 407 millioner i første kvartal 2024, opp 67 % fra første kvartal 2023;»

7)

Hexagon Purus ASA's second quarter results 2024 will be released on 18 July 2024, 07:00 CEST.

https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/NKLA/

Walmart som trygt kan kalles en bjellesau, og som med egne ord uttrykker at “Walmart Canada has an ambitious plan to power 100% of our fleet with alternative power".

Walmart Canada Becomes the First Major Retailer in Canada to Introduce a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Semi-Truck

Published June 27, 2024

MISSISSAUGA, ON – June 27, 2024 – Walmart Canada’s new hydrogen fuel cell-powered electric semi-truck is now on the roads in Mississauga, Ontario as the retailer continues its ambitious journey towards a 100% alternatively-powered fleet.

Walmart Canada is the first major retailer in Canada to introduce a hydrogen fuel cell electric semi-truck to its fleet. Operating with zero tailpipe emissions, the Nikola Hydrogen Fuel Cell EV Class 8 tractor has a range of about 800 kilometres and on average can avoid 97 metric tons of CO2 tailpipe emissions annually according to the manufacturer.* According to Nikola, Walmart Canada is also the first retail fleet to operate one of these trucks in North America.

The introduction of trucks powered by hydrogen fuel opens the door to longer-haul travel with alternative power, extending the range that’s currently possible with the fleet’s electric options. This first hydrogen FCEV was sourced by Etobicoke, Ontario-based ITD Industries Inc., an industry-leading transportation solutions provider, and will be deployed in Ontario for longer-haul trips.
...
The Nikola hydrogen fuel cell electric semi-truck carries high-pressure gaseous hydrogen onboard in specialized tanks, similar to how a conventional truck carries diesel. The hydrogen then runs through the fuel cell stack, which is converted to electricity by combining it with oxygen, with water vapor as the only byproduct. This electric power is transferred to the high-voltage power-net, which can charge the on-board batteries, and transfer power to the pavement via an e-axle with integrated electric motors.

Daimler Truck and Volvo open hydrogen fuel cell manufacturing plant for trucks

27 June, 2024 10:50

German company Cellcentric&Co KG has opened a hydrogen fuel cell manufacturing plant for heavy trucks in the city of Eslingen-Plienzauvorstadt

For now, this will be pilot production, and large-scale deployment is planned for the end of the decade, when hydrogen main tractors are expected to become the basis for the development of environmentally friendly heavy-duty transport.

The enterprise with a total area of 10,300 square meters employs 100 people. A high level of automation is used here. In addition to development and production, Cellcentric also plans to provide a full range of services for the maintenance and repair of hydrogen fuel systems.

There will also be a lot of attention paid to the precise use of resources. This includes the reuse of decommissioned systems for applications in other lower-requirement areas.

Specifically, it is about restoring fuel cell modules to a new state through a complete overhaul. As well as the recovery of raw materials and their reuse through processing.

It should be noted that in May 2024, at ACT Expo in Las Vegas, the company Cellcentric showed its latest NextGen hydrogen fuel cell system. In addition, its fuel cells of the BZA150 generation have been tested on the track of Daimler Truck and Volvo tractors.

The start of NextGen production is scheduled for the end of the decade. Cellcentric & Co KG is a joint venture between Daimler Truck and the Volvo Group, established in 2021 to develop and promote hydrogen technologies.

When In Nordics All Roads Lead To Vireon: H2 In Three Countries

David Blekhman Contributor

I am a professor at Cal State LA and the technical director for the Hydrogen Research and Fueling

Jun 12, 2024,06:45am EDT

As discussed in one of my previous articles, Norwegian Hydrogen established Vireon AS, a hydrogen fueling infrastructure brand with the aim of becoming the leading operator of hydrogen refueling stations for heavy duty transport in the Nordics. Through substantial investments in land transportation infrastructure, Vireon utilizing Norwegian Hydrogen technical expertise and grants experience seeks to expedite the adoption of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty transport in the entire Nordics. It has been especially successful in winning grants that enable projects in Norway, Denmark and Finland among others, and the secret is revealed at the end. As a matter of fact, Vireon is the only company selected to build new hydrogen stations in Denmark and Finland, a network of green hydrogen refueling stations stretching from Northern Finland via Sweden and Denmark to continental Europe, establishing a vital corridor for zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles. Vireon secured €9.2 million in EU funding for seven stations. While the government funding provides about 30 to 25% of CAPEX, the rest is covered by Vireon’s investors.

Out of our many locations in Norway, six were recently awarded grants based on the expectation that they would be the first strategic spots to need heavy-duty hydrogen refueling stations. These stations form two main corridors, between the Capital of Norway, Oslo, and Trondheim in Mid-Norway and Stavanger on the west-coast. This is two routes with a lot of heavy-duty trucks going back-and-forth, and the first customers have already ordered hydrogen powered trucks to be used between the three cities. Norwegian Hydrogen, the sole owner of Vireon, is also developing hydrogen production facilities across the Nordics. Vireon plan to source green hydrogen from these facilities, and also to partner with other hydrogen producers in the Nordics to ensure sufficient supply.
...
Vireon emphasizes working with various technology providers to ensure the best solutions for each project. They are also technology-agnostic when it comes to hydrogen storage, currently using Hexagon Purus trailers but open to other options.
...
Jens Berge, CEO of Norwegian Hydrogen says: "I'm deeply proud of our team's double success in securing EU grants totaling NOK 210 million for our hydrogen projects. This achievement not only fuels our passion and efforts towards a sustainable future, but also reinforces our leading position in the green energy transition.” NOK 210 million is approximately €18.2 million secured by both projects.

The secret to Vireon’s successful advancement of a network of hydrogen refueling stations in the Nordics is not a surprise as Norwegian Hydrogen, FirstElement Fuel Inc., and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. have formed a partnership to develop a joint hydrogen refueling infrastructure. This collaboration aims to accelerate the hydrogen heavy duty mobility by leveraging FirstElement Fuel's technical expertise in California, USA. Just in April 2024 in the Port of Oakland, FirstElement Fuel started operations at the North America’s largest hydrogen station.

Nikola stats show H2-powered trucking is for real

Alan Adler

Fri, Jun 7, 2024, 5:00 PM GMT+2 10 min read

Nikola has delivered 75 hydrogen-powered fuel cell trucks to customers. It has an order bank that should begin to produce meaningful revenue. Now it is producing statistical evidence that hydrogen-powered trucking is not just for show.

At two industry conferences this week and in data shared first with Truck Tech, Nikola revealed it has:

Completed 1,666 hydrogen fill-ups at three mobile refuelers in Coolidge, Arizona, as well as Ontario and Long Beach, California.

Dispensed 60.54 tons of hydrogen.

Averaged a fill time of 22.2 minutes in Long Beach and 23.5 minutes in Ontario. That is slightly longer than the 10-15 minutes for a diesel fill-up but much faster than recharging a battery-electric truck.

Averaged overall uptime of 95.4% including hydrogen station downtime. The trucks themselves operated 92.9% of the time.

Tech phoenix: how electric-vehicle manufacturer Nikola Corporation is rising from the ashes

10 Jun 2024 James McKenzie

James McKenzie explains what we can learn from electric-vehicle manufacturer Nikola Corporation, which is finally coming good despite its founder being jailed

Nikola Corporation is a US electric-vehicle company that once – briefly – had a market capitalization even greater than that of Ford. It was founded in 2014 by Trevor Milton, who served as chief executive and then executive chairman when the company went public in 2020. In December 2023, however, Milton was jailed for four years after being found guilty on three counts of criminal fraud for lying about “nearly all aspects of the business”, as US federal investigators put it.

Milton’s firm had also been slammed for excessive hype and fake promotional videos – one of which showed its prototype hydrogen-powered lorry rolling downhill rather than moving under its own power. Given the scandal and the jailing of the owner, you might think it would be impossible for Nikola to survive. However, the company is bouncing back.

With new management in place, Nikola is now on a genuine path to produce trucks powered by electric batteries and hydrogen fuel cells. In May the California-based logistics company Ailo placed an order for 100 of Nikola’s hydrogen fuel-cell electric trucks. Deliveries are scheduled for 2025, marking a remarkable phoenix-like transformation for Nikola.
