In September, Norwegian had 2,263,270 passengers while Widerøe had 356,259 passengers, totalling 2,619,529 for the group. The capacity was up 10 percent while the number of passengers rose by 11 percent compared to September 2023. Norwegian responds actively to external challenges impacting the airline by maintaining a strong focus on costs, even with positive September traffic figures.
"I am pleased that we have increased load factors throughout the summer and into the autumn season, while at the same time delivering double-digit capacity growth. The autumn school holiday period in Norway is performing well, and we are looking forward to a busy October ahead and an upcoming winter season with many new and exciting destinations. While we are happy with the performance, we are not complacent. We are actively managing costs to mitigate any upcoming challenges," said Geir Karlsen, CEO of Norwegian.

Økt reise trafikk som i august og tidligere år fortsetter altså, som tidligere antatt selv om mange her inne har påstått det motsatte,
NAS og GK melder videre om god forhåndsbooking i oktober, og til neste år og inn i 2026 vet vi at det kommer 4-5 rentekutt som vil opprettholde reiseaktiviteten.

Ja, tallene var veldig bra.
Det viser seg igjen at kjøpet av Widerøe er en gullgruve for Norwegian Group.
En annen ting er at det ikke ser ut til at staten legger på flyavgifter, har i alle fall ikke sett noe konkret om dette så langt.
Så tror samt god stigning videre utover høsten..

Forventer nå i Q3 som er selskapets viktigste kvartal omsetning rundt 11 milliarder og da et nytt rekord resultat i selskapets historie. Kostnadene jobber de som nevnt i dagens melding med hele tiden, forventer at de har såpass god kontroll at EBITDA Q3 blir rekordbra. DNBs kursmål kr 15 kommer nå til å bli innfridd👍😀

Selvfølgelig ikke positivt med streik Boeing, men streik har en tendens til å løse seg. Er nok oljepris som tynger, regner med GK & Co hedger videre på lave nivåer. Oljepris 80-85 er uansett overkommelig for NAS og et nivå som er normalt vs det vi har opplevd med pris 70-75 siste tiden.

Jaja, ser ut til at byks i oljepris, Boeing forsinkelser ++ overskygger det faktum at passasjertall er knallgode, fuelprishedging til lavere priser fremover og widerøe som er en pengemaskin også om vinteren. for de som har mulighet bør dette være en bra inngang

We must only recognize that there will be great uncertainty regarding NAS in the short term due to the Boeing strike and will probably also affect other airlines. I have temporarily chosen to sell my NAS shares and will not buy again until the Boeing strike is over

Det har ingenting med Boeing eller oljepris å gjøre, bare folk som sikrer profitt før neste opptur frem mot q3 og shortere som endelig får en mulighet til å hente seg inn uten tap.

Er nok et taktisk utspill også dette, ref kostnadsprosessen selskapet nå jobber med hver dag, ikke minst inkl. lønninger og mulig nedlegging av baser dersom de ikke kommer til eninghet med fagforening.

Mange er veldig redde for å kjøpe aksjer og en del hopper ut av redsel for å tape. Em perfekt situasjon for å shorte. Analytikere fabler om en oljepris på 250 dollar osv.

Geir Karlsen er en rå leder. Nettopp han er kanskje viktigste brikke for at Norwegian klarer seg så godt som de gjør i et landskap med flyskatt, selskapsskatt (22% av overskudd til staten), merverdiavgift, landingsavgifter, passasjeravgifter, sikkerhetsavgift, natur og miljøskatt, internasjonale avgifter. Helt utrolig de klarer seg som de gjør!!

Karlsen er enormt kostnads bevisst. Det han kommer med nå av tiltak er jo ikke en krise for Norwegian. Han spiller med åpne kort. At de tjener mindre i 25 enn i 24 er ikke sikkert.

Ingen liker usikkerhet, så en skal ikke bagatellisere forsinket leveranse av fly, men at dette rettferdigjør et fall på 7% er jeg skeptisk til. Husk at det ikke bare NAS Boeing leverer fly til, vil tro at mangel på leveranser på nye fly, samt motorproblemer på Airbus maskiner også vil kunne medføre mindre konkurranse i markedet,høyere fyllingsgrad og inntjening pr passasjer.

Men hva hadde markedet forventet av dagens tall, når aktiviteten generelt er 10% høyere enn tidligere. En potensiell forsinkelsene fra Boing, men likevel den har de fokus på. Så 11% ned er vel en stor overreaksjon
