Better upside than Nvidia

We sold our Nvidia positions and bought into AI processing companies. Much higher upside there over one year horizon.

My favourite play is Nebius, one of Nvidia H200 prime clients - they are the first one Nvidia is due to deliver H200.

Nebius was up 12% based on their press release on US expansion plans. Could easily double by CHrismas.

What is Nvidia's upside now? It is about betting that Nvidia will further innovate into the next big thing. The current AI business may be fully priced in. I recommend an excellent podcast by Damodoran on Nvidia. Damodoran is the current guru of corporate finance theory. You can find it online.

The next thing could be AI processing. I enclose below a link for an article on CoreWeave, which announced an IPO listing for early next year priced at 35 billion USD. For illustration, the company was valued in December 2023 at 7 billion USD. There is a good upside in less than two years.

I also included an article on Nebius, which I find to be the most interesting AI processing company among the listing peers.

Nvidia among backers of Nebius $700M funding round
Nvidia (NVDA), along with other investors are looking to invest in the $700M private placement financing round by Nebius (NASDAQ:NBIS).

Shares in NBIS rose 15% in premarket trade.
Nebius added the financing also includes the participation from Accel, and certain accounts managed by Orbis Investments.
The financing will help the company's plans to further build out its full-stack AI infrastructure.
The board said it is also granting observer rights to Matt Weigand, a Partner at Accel, and intends to nominate him for election as a director at the 2025 AGM.
The company added that a potential repurchase by the firm of its Class A shares is no longer warranted.
Due to the strategic financing and the decision to not repurchase Class A shares, the firm narrowed its previous guidance, and now expects to deliver an ARR by year-end 2025 of $750 million to $1 billion.

$NBIS Nebius Group initiated with a Buy at BWS Financial

BWS Financial analyst Hamed Khorsand initiated coverage of Nebius Group with a Buy rating and $51 price target. Nebius is the non-Russian assets of what was formerly known as Yandex through a series of transactions completed in July 2024, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says the business is poised to leverage the current demand for artificial intelligence and enhance the value of the other businesses it owns "now that it is once again a freely trading company removed from sanctions and restrictions."

Nebius accelerates US expansion, adding up to 300 MW capacity at new data center in New Jersey.

Arkady Volozh, founder and CEO of Nebius, said:
“Our first major data center in the US clearly advances our strategic goal of expanding our footprint in the American market as we continue building Nebius into a leading global AI infrastructure provider. This site has the potential to host dedicated large-scale instances, and we have considerable flexibility to accelerate our deployment plans as and when we need to.

“With New Jersey, we now have secured expansion capacity to over 400 MW. And we are actively reviewing options to extend this pipeline further as we seek to grow aggressively to multiples of where we are today.”
