"Revenue is recognized when control of the promised goods or services is transferred to a customer, in an amount reflecting the consideration the Company expects to be entitled to in exchange for those goods or services."

"The Company does not believe it was exposed to significant credit risk associated with its Accounts receivable".
"Expected credit loss accrued for at the end of 2023 was 144 thousand, no loss was expected for 2022. There were no other provisions for expected credit losses in 2023 and 2022."

Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement published by Zwipe AS (the
"Company") earlier today regarding the decision from the Oslo Chamber of
Commerce dated 27 January 2025 at 23:25 CET in the payment dispute between IDEX
Biometrics ASA and Zwipe AS. The Company has now held the extraordinary board

The board has discussed whether it can continue its operations in the light of
the claim payable based on the decision from the Oslo Chamber of Commerce. Based
on the board's assessment, the Company is currently in discussions which are not
unlikely to provide the Company with necessary financing to avoid insolvency. It
is, thus, the board's opinion that the Company currently has a basis for further
operations. The Company will inform the market again when it knows the outcome

A major new partnership has resulted in the launch of Japan’s first commercial biometric payment cards. The partnership brings together Norwegian biometric technology specialist IDEX Biometrics with LIFE CARD, one of Japan’s established credit card issuers.
The payment cards incorporate fingerprint sensors that verify users’ identities during transactions, eliminating the need for PIN codes while providing enhanced security against fraud. The launch builds on IDEX’s recent success in obtaining Mastercard approval for its biometric payment platform, which has helped accelerate global adoption of the technology.

"The biometric cards market size has grown rapidly in recent years. It will grow from $13.03 billion in 2024 to $15.36 billion in 2025"
Zwipe ligger an til ca $0.0001 billion.
"It will grow to $29.3 billion in 2029"

Japan is one of the largest payment markets in Asia, with a very advanced
acceptance landscape which is ready for biometric smart cards. Credit cards have
emerged to become the most popular alternative to cash in Japan, with 314
million cards issued. Accounting for more than 80% percent of cashless
transactions, credit cards are used far more than any other digital payment
instrument in Japan(1).
