Based on the Photocure Technology® platform, Photocure has developed and commercialized Hexvix®/Cysview® for better detection and management of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.
Hexvix®/Cysview® is a drug that is selectively taken up by cancer cells in the bladder making them glow bright pink/red during cystoscopy with a blue light enabled cystoscope (Blue Light Cystoscopy, BLC™). Making the tumors visible allows for early and better detection, more complete removal of tumors and a correct diagnosis leading to better patient management.
