Self sufficient houses with hydrogen:

https://www.powercell.se/en/markets/cases/stationary/self-sufficient-smart-houses/

When we get more and more this kind of houses and equipment, almost every household can be a producer of hydrogen. According to this report normal consumers will be producers of electricity (and hydrogen) as prices of solar panels go further down:

H2 will be traded like oil or gas today and we can use it for all kind of applications to produce heat or electricity: homes, transportation, cars, process industry...

That means gold digging for HEX. There will be huge demand for different kind of tanks for storage, transportation and end use of H2.

From the text: ''The solar cells produce electricity during daylight hours and the electricity is used, among other things, to recover hydrogen gas using electrolysis. The hydrogen gas is stored in tanks and used in the evening and night hours, and during the winter, to generate electricity using the PowerCell PS-5 fuel cell system. ''

So they use electrolysis to produce hydrogen inhouse.

Another example is here:

https://www.zerosun.se/page?id=24550

''Solar panels on the roof collect solar energy, which is primarily used for the direct energy consumption of the house. Any leftover energy is then stored in batteries. Once the batteries are full, the surplus energy goes into producing hydrogen by way of an electrolyser, which is stored in a separate tank.''

And more will come for sure ; )
