Norwegian Argentina to start operations on October 16!

Norwegian (Argentina) (Buenos Aires) has announced on September 4, it will start selling tickets for its first domestic routes in Argentina.

Operations will begin on October 16, 2018. The first routes will be from Buenos Aires and the popular tourist destinations of Córdoba and Mendoza, with Iguazu, Bariloche, Neuquén and Salta to start later.

Reuters reported the country of Argentina has authorized Norwegian to fly around 60 aircraft starting in 2018 in Argentina opening up 72 national and 80 international routes. Norwegian will be permitted to operate from the cities of Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Mendoza.

Traditionally the government has protected the national flag carrier Aerolineas Argentinas.
