Jeffrey Epstein Hoped to Seed Human Race With His DNA

Jeffrey E. Epstein, the wealthy financier who is accused of sex trafficking, had an unusual dream: He hoped to seed the human race with his DNA by impregnating women at his vast New Mexico ranch.

Mr. Epstein over the years confided to scientists and others about his scheme, according to four people familiar with his thinking, although there is no evidence that it ever came to fruition.

Mr. Epstein’s vision reflected his longstanding fascination with what has become known as transhumanism: the science of improving the human population through technologies like genetic engineering and artificial intelligence. Critics have likened transhumanism to a modern-day version of eugenics, the discredited field of improving the human race through controlled breeding.

Mr. Epstein, who was charged in July with the sexual trafficking of girls as young as 14, was a serial illusionist: He lied about the identities of his clients, his wealth, his financial prowess, his personal achievements. But he managed to use connections and charisma to cultivate valuable relationships with business and political leaders.

Mr. Epstein attracted a glittering array of prominent scientists. They included the Nobel Prize-winning physicist Murray Gell-Mann, who discovered the quark; the theoretical physicist and best-selling author Stephen Hawking; the paleontologist and evolutionary biologist Stephen Jay Gould; Oliver Sacks, the neurologist and best-selling author; George M. Church, a molecular engineer who has worked to identify genes that could be altered to create superior humans; and the M.I.T. theoretical physicist Frank Wilczek, a Nobel laureate.

The lure for some of the scientists was Mr. Epstein’s money. He dangled financing for their pet projects. Some of the scientists said that the prospect of financing blinded them to the seriousness of his sexual transgressions, and even led them to give credence to some of Mr. Epstein’s half-baked scientific musings.

Scientists gathered at dinner parties at Mr. Epstein’s Manhattan mansion, where Dom Pérignon and expensive wines flowed freely, even though Mr. Epstein did not drink. He hosted buffet lunches at Harvard’s Program for Evolutionary Dynamics, which he had helped start with a $6.5 million donation.

Others flew to conferences sponsored by Mr. Epstein in the United States Virgin Islands and were feted on his private island there. Once, the scientists — including Mr. Hawking — crowded on board a submarine that Mr. Epstein had chartered.

The Harvard cognitive psychologist Steven Pinker said he was invited by colleagues — including Martin Nowak, a Harvard professor of mathematics and biology, and the theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss — to “salons and coffee klatsches” at which Mr. Epstein would hold court.

While some of Mr. Pinker’s peers hailed Mr. Epstein as brilliant, Mr. Pinker described him as an “intellectual impostor.”

“He would abruptly change the subject, A.D.D.-style, dismiss an observation with an adolescent wisecrack,” Mr. Pinker said.

Another scientist cultivated by Mr. Epstein, Jaron Lanier, a prolific author who is a founder of virtual reality, said that Mr. Epstein’s ideas did not amount to science, in that they did not lend themselves to rigorous proof. Mr. Lanier said Mr. Epstein had once hypothesized that atoms behaved like investors in a marketplace.

Then there was Mr. Epstein’s interest in eugenics.

On multiple occasions starting in the early 2000s, Mr. Epstein told scientists and businessmen about his ambitions to use his New Mexico ranch as a base where women would be inseminated with his sperm and would give birth to his babies, according to two award-winning scientists and an adviser to large companies and wealthy individuals, all of whom Mr. Epstein told about it.

It was not a secret. The adviser, for example, said he was told about the plans not only by Mr. Epstein, at a gathering at his Manhattan townhouse, but also by at least one prominent member of the business community. One of the scientists said Mr. Epstein divulged his idea in 2001 at a dinner at the same townhouse; the other recalled Mr. Epstein discussing it with him at a 2006 conference that he hosted in St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands.

The idea struck all three as far-fetched and disturbing. There is no indication that it would have been against the law.

Once, at a dinner at Mr. Epstein’s mansion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Mr. Lanier said he talked to a scientist who told him that Mr. Epstein’s goal was to have 20 women at a time impregnated at his 33,000-square-foot Zorro Ranch in a tiny town outside Santa Fe. Mr. Lanier said the scientist identified herself as working at NASA, but he did not remember her name.

According to Mr. Lanier, the NASA scientist said Mr. Epstein had based his idea for a baby ranch on accounts of the Repository for Germinal Choice, which was to be stocked with the sperm of Nobel laureates who wanted to strengthen the human gene pool. (Only one Nobel Prize winner has acknowledged contributing sperm to it. The repository discontinued operations in 1999.)

Mr. Lanier, the virtual-reality creator and author, said he had the impression that Mr. Epstein was using the dinner parties — where some guests were attractive women with impressive academic credentials — to screen candidates to bear Mr. Epstein’s children.

The Boy Scouts of America are continuing to cover-up a “pedophilia epidemic within their organization,” a group of lawyers alleged Tuesday in a new lawsuit.

The Abused in Scouting lawyers said they’ve identified 350 previously unknown scoutmasters and volunteers who allegedly preyed on boys — and whose names were not known to law enforcement or in the BSA’s internal database, which critics have called “perversion files.”

“You can’t look at these files and not come to the conclusion that this was a massive problem that was hidden,” attorney Tim Kosnoff said at a press conference.

“We know that when a pedophile abuses a victim, it's not just one,” added attorney Stewart Eisenberg. “So each of the 350 abusers have dozens of other victims who have not come forward.”

The revelation that the lawyers had identified a small army who they claim are previously unknown scout sex abusers was contained in the lawsuit filed Monday in Philadelphia by a Pennsylvania man identified only as “S.D.” who claims he was assaulted “hundreds” of times over a span of four years in the 1970s.

S.D., who lives in Wilkes-Barre, identified his attacker in the lawsuit as Paul Antosh, who also lives in the Pennsylvania city.

“I just heard about this lawsuit,” Antosh, 62, told NBC News when reached by phone at the Poconos motel he manages.

Asked if the allegations are true, Antosh said, “I’m in the process of hiring counsel.”

The complaint also names the Boy Scouts and the Penn Mountains Council.

“BSA knew for decades that sexual predators of boys had infiltrated scouting,” the complaint states.

In response to questions from NBC News, the BSA said it was reviewing the spread sheet the Abused in Scouting lawyers sent them and "continuing to manually search paper records at the local level to see if we can identify more information about the additional alleged perpetrators identified in the plaintiff’s attorneys list."

"We immediately investigated the limited information provided and our efforts have already resulted in approximately 120 reports to the lead law enforcement agency in each state with an accusation of abuse," the BSA said in emailed response. "We have also contacted local law enforcement for all the cases in which enough information was provided to identify the correct agency."

In a quick review of the Abused in Scouting lawyers' spread sheet, NBC News found that at least half-a-dozen former scout leaders had been previously unmasked as predators and were listed in the BSA's so-called perversion files.

Epstein's Connection to Uranium One

George Webb informs us that there is so much more to Jeffrey Epstein than a child sex trafficking ring and a major blackmailing operation.

Today, he teaches us about the connection between Jeff Epstein, the State Department and Teneo, a private intelligence contractor, co-founded in 2011 by Doug Band, Bill Clinton's body man during his presidency, who Webb says "was the key guy who was doing pay-to-play deals during that time."

Webb says Epstein was involved on the logistics end in their scheme, which took information from the State Department, with all of its covert actions happening around the world and that privatized this information for private gain. He says the main conduit for this was Teneo, where Huma Abedin also worked. The information was transferred to Huma's husband, Anthony Weiner and to Jeff Epstein.

Huma Abedin, as everyone knows was Hillary Clinton's right-hand woman for nearly all of her adult life, including while Hillary was the head of the State Department. Webb claims Huma and Hillary would step outside of their SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) during coffee breaks and walk down to the parking lot, where Anthony Weiner - or somebody, maybe Imran Awan - would be there to sync their Blackberry mobile phones

"That's basically what James Comey confirmed, that the syncing of the Blackberries to each other was how [Hillary Clinton's] emails got onto Anthony Weiner's laptop," he says.

"Every time Teneo does something in terms of overseas mining, for instance, they don't want any footprints. If Mark Rich is going to take advantage of some information, let's say about uranium in the Congo, we don't want to associate that with anybody at the State Department. You want to keep zero-footprint, you want Jeff flying people back and forth, whether it's weapons, whether it's different diplomats, etc. but you want zero footprints.

"So, Jeff Epstein basically was the way of zeroing out the footprint for Teneo. As I said, whether that meant drugs going in one direction or weapons in another or whether it was Mujahideen, etc. and the key way they used to cover this contraband or ratline traffic was through the use of diplomatic passports and diplomatic immunity. You can see Doug Band several times in his email talking about 'Can we get a few more dip passports for our trip to Africa?'

Teneo created a subsidiary called TENEX (Techsnabexport), a joint venture with Russia that is the foreign trade company for

Rosatom, the Russian state-owned nuclear energy company and one of the world's leaders in that industry. TENEX became the leading supplier of Russian uranium to the global market, providing uranium enrichment services to over one third of the world's Western-style nuclear reactors.

Webb describes TENEX as "Basically, ex-KGB agents who now have moved into the energy business...you're taking information or companies in the United States that might be involved with the Manhattan Project; let's say different companies involved in the uranium nuclear chain, fuel cycle chain and moving them or taking companies that were involved in the fuel cycle chain in Russia and moving them to third-party locations that you control, whether it be Iran or UAE or some other place, where you can privatize basically the investment that either Russia or the United States has made in these very, very expensive technologies.

"Mainly around this uranium or sometimes plutonium, as well these materials, which can create submarines that can go under water, all the way around the world. They can power nuclear satellites that never go dark, etc.; key technologies that are are differentiators. You can make small, portable nuclear power plants for backup power for key infrastructure, as well as military installations, etc.

"That's the focus of TENEX, of this joint venture between the Clinton Foundation and these, what we know of as 'Russian oligarchs' but really, they came from either a combination of organized crime in the Ukraine area or the combination with ex-KGB, the heads of these organizations. This is the one that Jeff Epstein really focused on.

Webb shows us a video from two years ago when he went on location to the Teneo offices and discovered their cut-out, Transport Logistics, TLI.

"This was the trucking company that was involved in shipping all of this uranium to... TENEX, which he reminds us was the creation of these ex-Soviet Union/KGB guys and the people at Teneo - and the Clinton Foundation."

Webb says TLI key to the Uranium One story, in which Hillary facilitated the sale of 20% of US uranium production to ROSATOM and it's "Key to the Mueller cover-up."

Jeffrey Epstein once had three 12-year-old girls flown in from France for him to abuse as a sadistic birthday present, unsealed court documents have alleged.

The fresh allegations were made by Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who claims she was recruited to be a 'sex slave' by the millionaire financier and his girlfriend Ghislane Maxwell when she was 15 in 1999.

Giuffre made the allegations in a civil suit filed by the Miami US attorney's office in 2015. It sought to overturn the sweetheart plea bargain Epstein received in 2008, under which he served just 13 months in prison after pleading guilty to having sex with a minor.

She said that the French girls, believed to be sisters, were a gift from Epstein's longtime acquaintance and frequent guest Jean-Luc Brunel.

'Jeffrey bragged after he met them that they were 12-year-olds and flown over from France because they're really poor over there, and their parents needed the money or whatever the case is and they were absolutely free to stay and flew out,' Giuffre said.

She said she saw the three girls with her own eyes and that Epstein had repeatedly described to her how the girls had massaged him and performed oral sex on him. They were flown back to France the next day.
