Naturally, there are worries that Donald Trump has lit the fuse for fresh violence.
But Iran and its proxies unleash constant savagery already, until yesterday under Soleimani’s personal direction.
He was the architect of horrors in multiple countries.
He will be mourned only by Iran’s Islamic fundamentalists and, of course, by Jeremy Corbyn and his hard-left anti-American nitwits.
But Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab’s reaction was mealy-mouthed too.
Of course it would be good for both sides to “de-escalate”.
True, “further conflict is in none of our interests”.
Mr Raab might have added a full-throated condemnation of Soleimani, effectively the world’s No1 terrorist, whose victims outnumber those of Bin Laden or al-Baghdadi.
Yes, the US should have warned Britain of the drone strike, given the heightened danger now to our 900 troops in Iraq and Syria. But it had to act rapidly.
Iranian reprisals may be inevitable.
But standing back hasn’t done the West much good.
The mullahs at least now need to factor in a US President who’s more ruthless than the last.
Three days ago Ayatollah Khamenei taunted him over the storming of the US embassy in Baghdad. “You can’t do anything,” he sneered.

Right-wing provocateur James O’Keefe published his latest video on tech giants on Wednesday, touting an interview with former YouTube software engineer and self-proclaimed “whistleblower” Zach Vorhies. In the video, Vorhies claims that Google’s search algorithms are riddled with political bias, and touted a cache of internal Google files he alleges prove his case.
Vorhies complains that Google doesn’t surface conspiracy theory websites like InfoWars in one of its news search algorithms. He insists that his information is so valuable that he has a credible fear that Google could be “trying to off me.”
“Some say that you’re a hero, some are going to say that you have extreme moral courage,” O’Keefe told the former Googler in the video.
“I always thought that when the time came to do the right thing, in a big way, that I would always be the one that stood up and did the right thing,” Vorhies replied.
What O’Keefe’s video leaves out, though, is that his much-hyped insider is not as credible as he claims. On social media, Vorhies is an avid promoter of anti-Semitic accusations that banks, the media, and the United States government are controlled by “Zionists.” He’s also pushed conspiracy theories like QAnon, Pizzagate, and the discredited claim that vaccines cause autism.

Er du medlem siden du hevder det er en sekt? Er en åpen og fri folkebevegelse en sekt???
Ingen vet hvem Q er, annet enn at han er insider rundt presidenten med tilgang på intel og frihet til å formidle det en president ikke selv kan si, men som MSM skulle ha satt i sammenheng dersom de hadde gjort jobben sin de 20 siste årene. En korrupt dypstat må ha en motvekt dersom et folk som har vært holdt for narr, skal bli informert om hva som har foregått rundt dem.
Q må av lett forståelige grunner være anonym, og den korrupte dypstatens mottrekk gjennom sitt MSM er å kalle Q for en konspirasjonsteori. Til å begynne med varslet Q mye det var sjokkerende å få opplyst, men alt har vist seg å være riktig, særlig også etter hvert som Epstein nå viser seg å være et bindeledd som kobler de mest korrupte fra begge politiske sider, deres gjerninger, deres Foundations og ideologien som er plantet i og har overtatt FN gjennom tenketanker som har innflytelse og posisjon der (Humpty Dumpty).
