Trade war: China wan't alle tariffs removed in phase 1 deal

Notice how Reuters joins Trump's "final throes" statement to the Reuters
spin line "of a deal aimed at defusing a 16-month trade war with China.",
to seemingly put US blame in President Trump's lips.
With China's heavy subsidization of trade and permissive attitudes
towards patent infringement over the past two decades, Reuters spin
of US responsibility misses the entire crux of the trade dispute,
taking away objective analysis from it's entire article.
Investors and traders exercising speculation on such articles expose
themselves to substantial risk by entertaining such spin (propaganda).
China is preparing for Hong Kong. China would like to add the linkage
of a failed US-trade negotiation into what it is postulating for Hong
Kong's intermediate-term future.
China also views trade-poaching as a strategic interest. There is no
equivalent strategic value to free trade.
If China can recapture its trade-poaching strategic interest in a one-off
signing with the US than China is all in. Otherwise there will be one
Chinese excuse after another for not coming to a trade deal with the US.
China has no economic interest for its people. It is a communistic non-
democratic regime that becomes indignant at the term "Human Rights". It
will purposely run it's economy aground to protect that regime's authority.
Only an internal change within China's government will change that outlook.
All the international deals of the world will not change China. Only
China can change China.

Dette har jeg sagt hele tiden. Og det er derfor man ikke skroter en inngått avtale før en ny foreligger. jeg tror at det beste vi kan håpe på er en del 1. Men nå begynner jeg å bli usikker på om det også vil bli en del 1. Og med Tyskland nær resesjon, Japan som sliter og Norge som sliter med en krone som er svakere enn på 30 år og som kun holder seg flytende takket være olje og fond så sier det hvor viktig en handelsavtale er for verden. USA kan også fort se sin egen økonomi stoppe opp, rett og slett fordi deres tradisjonelle handelspartnere som Europa og i Asia er kommet i resesjon! Og da tar folk pengene sine ut av fond og aksjer og knuger på de til den kommende finanskrisen er over. Faktisk så sitter flere store investorer på gjerdet allerede, og de har overlatt gulvet til spekulantene, daytraderne og shorterne.
