Malta, 28th June 2018 - Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) is pleased to announce it
has today been authorised by The State of New Jersey Division of Gaming
Enforcement (DGE) to provide a real-money online casino platform solution to
operators in the state of New Jersey, USA.
GiG has, as part of the standard licence application process by the DGE,
received what is called a transactional waiver which certifies that the GIG Core
platform is compliant with the rules and regulations of the DGE. This is a
significant step and milestone for GIG in its ambition to enter the regulated US
market. GiG will obtain its full Casino Service Industry
Enterprise Licence (CSIE), as soon as the obligatory and comprehensive process
is completed.
In February 2018, GiG announced it had signed an agreement partnering with Hard
Rock International to supply its full range of platform and front-end
development services to Hard Rock's first online casino. GiG's first US
customer, Hard Rock, will launch its online casino services later this month.

" No. 1 we are certainly going to work within the guidelines of the Department of Gaming Enforcement in the state of New Jersey and while there are a few sports betting windows open at I think Borgata opened, we understand the market is actually more favorable with hand-held device or smartphone if you will.
So nobody has that technology approved yet by the DGE, we are in that process so we’ll be making some announcements in the next 30 or 60 days as far as how we are going to do that."

Som vi leser er grunnen trolig til at de har ventet så langt at de venter på at deres potensielle leverandør (virker som de tenker på en spesifik som søker) skal få godkjent sin sportsbetting løsning i DGE (som den første). Meget interessant og som også noen artikler kommenterer, er nettopp GIG interessant her. De er i en prosess allerede med DGE ang casinoleveranse, der de har fått imidlertidig lisence, og proklamerte i sin sports lansering at de har det beste mobilproduktet der ute.

GIG Games skal lanseres nå dette kvartalet der de rapporterte i mai at de vil lansere 6-8 spill nå i 2 halvdel av 2018. GIG er Hard Rock sin casinoleverandør. Interessant nok har ikke HR signet avtale med en "live casino leverandør" ennå (utdrag fra annen artikkel).
"The site’s FAQ mentions the promise of live dealer games “broadcast directly from Atlantic City.” There are currently two New Jersey sites offering a live casino product — the Golden Nugget and Befair (which piggybacks on the Nugget’s gaming license).
The identity of the Hard Rock’s live dealer tech partner remains a mystery"

Super spennende. Ser frem imot q2 fremleggelse og hva som snjer de neste 6mndene. Kan ikke forstå annet enn at dette vil bli en suksess. Vi skal selvsagt aldri ta lett på konkurenter men det virker som om det er ett samarbeid med HR og det kan bære mange frukter videre.
