Nano One Patents a New Durable Cobalt-Free Battery Material

Vancouver, Canada – January 06, 2020 (TSX-V: NNO) (OTC-Nasdaq Intl Designation: NNOMF) (Frankfurt: LBMB). Dr. Stephen Campbell, Chief Technology Officer at Nano One is pleased to announce the issuance of Taiwanese patent number I672852 relating to lithium nickel manganese oxide (LNMO) cathode material, also known as high voltage spinel (HVS). In addition to the increased durability shown below, Nano One’s LNMO also eliminates cobalt from the battery, thereby addressing the ethical and supply chain issues related to artisanal cobalt mining in Africa for use in lithium ion batteries.



Dr. Campbell said “This addition to Nano One’s patent portfolio is an important, low cost durability improvement to LNMO. This material operates at high voltage with fast rates of charge and discharge, compared to other cathode materials. Our technology treats the surface of the discrete cathode crystals and it mitigates instabilities common to spinels including LNMO and enables elevated operating temperatures that are typical in electric vehicle batteries.”

This represents the sixteenth patent in Nano One’s IP portfolio which extends to the U.S., Canada, China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

Dette regnet av linker setter i sammen hvorfor Nano Ones aksjonÊr vil ha en avkastning pÄ over 2000 % de nÊrmeste Ärene kanskje fÞr. Men man mÄ lese seg opp og se ting i langsiktig perspektiv. HÄpet er at de offentligjÞr avtale med Tesla Giga Texas i fÞrste omgang pÄ produksjon av katodemateriale 2024.
Den fÞrste katode fabrikken er bygget og vil testkjÞres i noen mÄneder LMNO og NMC batterier.

Den andre LFP / LMFP katode fabrikken er under konstruksjon som et tilleggsbyg pÄ Giga Texas.
Ved bruk av Nano One M2CAM teknologi kan Tesla lage et vilket som helst lithium batteri de Þnsker pÄ grunn av patentene som Nano One har siden de er alene om hvordan de produsere katode materialet.

En video som kanskje virker litt kjedelig i utgangspunktet men er serdeles viktig i forhold til stÞrrelse pÄ katodeblanderen som Nano One vil bli benyttet pÄ store gigafabriker med hÞyt volum
12500 metric tonn dette blir da en stÞrrelse pÄ 11.339 Liter.
DENNE STØRRELSEN ER NANO ONE HELT ALENE OM I HELE VERDEN. 11.339 LITER.
En vanlig standar stĂžrrelse 1000 til 2000 metric tonn .

Veldig interessant siden L&F skal levere cathode materiale til Tesla Giga Texas sine blandemaskiner for leveranse Januar 2024.
Det utfĂžres fortsatt rĂžrarbeid i katodefabrikken i Giga Texas slik at det sikkert vil bli en del test kjĂžring 1 og 2q 2024 ???
Og sÄ har vi da GM Samsung sitt samarbeid nord Amerika
