Kinesiskregimet har nå pålagt begrensninger for publisering av akademisk forskning på opprinnelsen til det nye coronavirus.

"Hong Kong (CNN)China has imposed restrictions on the publication of academic research on the origins of the novel coronavirus, according to a central government directive and online notices published by two Chinese universities, that have since been removed from the web.

Under the new policy, all academic papers on Covid-19 will be subject to extra vetting before being submitted for publication. Studies on the origin of the virus will receive extra scrutiny and must be approved by central government officials, according to the now-deleted posts."

BEIJING (NRK): Da koronavirusets første varsler ble målbundet og sensurert, bombarderte kinesere nettet med kreative gjengivelser av hennes budskap.
Legen Ai Fen varslet om symptomer på et SARS-lignende virus i en av sine pasienter 30. desember. Som leder av avdelingen for øyeblikkelig hjelp på Wuhan Central Hospital, så hun det som sin plikt å varsle.
Sykehusledelsen ba henne om å holde kjeft.
Nå er Ai en angrende varsler. Hun skulle ønske hun hadde fulgt sin samvittighet, og ikke ordren fra oven.
Denne uken ble historien hennes publisert i det kinesiske tidsskriftet Folk (人物). Like snart ble artikkelen fjernet.
